Roma Inglese - For English teachers in Rome
TorinoInglese is not alone. It has two sisters, MilanoInglese (the older sister) and RomaInglese. The sites are quite literally clones, sharing the same format, the same design and marketing policy. The RomaInglese website is rather predictably called www.romainglese.it and the teacher information website is www.romainglese.com.
The RomaInglese websites were created in late 2013, after a couple of teachers in Rome asked why we were only helping English teachers in Milano. Fairly obviously, being new, RomaInglese hasn't reached the same level of success as MilanoInglese, but it's slowing heading in that same direction.
Teacher registration is free and will stay that way, at least during 2014, while the site gains acceptance. In the meantime, those teachers smart enough to get onboard will gain from an almost limitless supply of free enquiries asking for private lessons.
Roma Inglese
The public website, where teacher profiles are listed and potential students can get in touch is www.romainglese.it and the teacher information and registration website is www.romainglese.com. Our hope is that, just like MilanoInglese, RomaInglese will help independent ESL English teachers generate private work and provide a safe and trustworthy site where students can search for private English teachers.
So, if you're a mothertongue English teacher who teaches English as a second language in or around Rome and you'd like earn a little money by offering private lessons, join Romainglese. It sure as hell beats working for peanuts in a language school or posting flyers in supermarkets every weekend! What else are you going to do?
